There is no other place I would rather be than to be at the Spirit Covenant.

Smangele Tsotetsi

On the first day of the Passover I decided to accompany my neighbor to her church, which is the SCIM. I was skeptical about the whole thing but I tagged along all the same.

When we arrived at the church I knew immediately that it was the best decision I have taken in a long time. Members of the church embraced me so warmly from the first handshake I got from the usher at the door. It suddenly dawned on me that I was really in the house of the love, which is the house of the Lord.

Throughout the service I felt as though I am already a member, so much that I almost felt holy. There was so much zeal and life in me as I experienced God’s presence, and that is when I felt really alive. Healing took over without any of the pastors laying hands on me.
Ever since then I have returned to the church many times over.  There is no other place I would rather be than to be at the Spirit Covenant.

Elizabeth Masana Mabena

Mpho Letebele: What makes you to attend the church even when it rains?
Elizabeth Masana Mabena: That is in itself not enough for me. I wish it were possible for me to stay here in the house of the Lord. When I am here I very much whole, I feel as though this joy will last forever, it is true when the Psalm says, ’There is fullness of joy in the house of the Lord’. Hence I am forever here.

Is there any difference you have perceived in you life since you arrived here?
A lot has happened, actually. I cannot even begin to describe the level of elevation I feel here. I now know how to pray not only to God but I am now also able to conquer my own demons.
What have been your highlights here?

As it is said in Romans one needs to accept Jesus as his Christ the Lord and Savior. Then one will be saved. I did exactly. Now I am not only am I born again; I even had an encounter with the Holy Spirit. The man of God is a blessing in my life simply because he allowed God to use him as a vessel for me to be saved.

My Experiences here at the SICM,

There is a happy story of John  who always dreamt of a beautiful snazzy vehicle. But all he could do was dream.
Then he came to the SCIM for a routine service and met with Prophet Bheki Yende. Pastor Yende told John he sees a Golf 7 that he is obsessed with and John admitted John knew that it was true that he badly wanted the Golf so he immediately set out to apply for a banking loan to secure his dream vehicle. This was immediately approves at the most low rates anybody could dream of.
So ….hopes he will soon be cruising in a new shiny Golf 7

GOGO Skhosana

This lady is happy that her family now believes in the power of the prayer. She says by doing so they have made her the happiest person alive. “I am so grateful that from daughter to all my grandchildren everybody now accepts the Lord as their savior.”

Xoliswa

Xoliswa lost her husband and for her the world seemed to have caved in. Life became difficult and it was hard for her. But she thanks the Lord for the unity He that has brought her house together. That unity sustained her home after her husband’s death when all seemed lost. “He has always been faithful, always there and proved to be the good shepherd I needed in my life,” Xoliswa remarks. She adds that God has been nothing but available, hence her gratitude to Him.

My Experiences here at the SICM,

Vickey Zwane

Zwane says she is ecstatic that she will not have to be surgically operated on anymore. She initially struggled to breathe normally as though her respiratory system was clogged up. Then she went to the SCIM for help. “I attended a Thursday prayer session where the prophet, Bheki Yende, prayed for me.” Zwane says she immediately got her deliverance after the prayer. “I was worried before because I burped the way sangomas do. That perturbed me a lot.” But now he is happy that she is healed.
“I will not be operated on anymore.  Truly, truly, change happened through the minute I allowed God to take over every aspect of my life.”

Unveiling the word with Pastor Matsiri Tony Mailula

The three dimensions of the Holy Spirit explained

There is a question that is frequently asked by those who still want to know more about those who call themselves ‘born again’ and attend other churches. The question is, “why do Christians from other churches only pray to Jesus Christ and ignore God?’ Their logic is that the Lord is the Father and Jesus is the Son. So believers, the skeptics opine, ought to pray to the Father before they can do so to the Son, isn’t? They ask.

Pastor Mailula maintains that the new era for Christianity is here now, the era in which mankind and Christians are guided by the Holy Spirit.  God, in the book of Genesis, says ‘I am the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob’. There has always been a body made up of three whenever God wanted to liaise with the people on earth.

But in John 1:1 God says the word is now in flesh. “This has to be,” says Mailula. God has to reache out to His people and the direct, easier way has to be in flesh so that mankind can understand Him. When Jesus left the world in flesh He promised that He will ‘leave you with the comforter’.  This Mailula, points out, meant He was leaving the world with the Holy Spirit. The first part of the dimension is God, the second Jesus and the third the Holy Spirit, which is in operation now.  Mailula says there is an assurance of possessions; you do not have to own anything now as the Holy Spirit is with you as far as your eyes can see. “You have everything already.”
